Reported Speech

Die Reported Speech wird verwendet, um die wörtliche Reden indirekt wiederzugeben.

Typ 1
 

Der Einleitungssatz ist in einer der folgenden Zeiten:

  • present tense (He says…)
  • present perfect (He has said…)
  • future [will] (He will say…)
  • future [going to] (He is going to say….)

Die Zeit wird nicht verändert, das Personalpronomen und das Verb werden angepasst.

 

He saysI go to London“ He says that he goes to London

 

Typ 2

Typ 2: Der Einleitungssatz ist in einer der folgenden Zeiten:

  • past tense (He said…)
  • past perfect (He had said…)
  • future 2 (He will have said…)
  • Conditional 1 (He would say…)
  • Conditional 2 (He would have said…)

Die Zeit wird verändert, das Personalpronomen und das Verb werden angepasst. Adverbien werden angepasst (z.B. here, this, these, today, yesterday, tomorrow, … ago)

“present tense” → past tense He saidI go to London” He said that he went to London.

“past tense”

“present perfect” → past perfect

“past perfect”

He saidI went to London”

He saidI have gone to London” →

He saidI had gone to London”

He said that he had gone to London.

“future tense”

“Conditional 1”  → Conditional 1

He saidI will go to London”

He saidI would go to London” →

He said that he would go to London.

“future perfect”

 “Conditional 2” → Conditional 2 2

He saidI will have gone to London”

He saidI would have gone to London”  →

He said that he would have gone to London.
